Australian Leadership Awards Scholarships 
will be awarded to people who have potential to assume leadership roles that can influence social and economic policy reform and development outcomes, both in their own countries and in the Asia-Pacific region. Scholarships are provided for longer-term postgraduate study at masters or doctoral level.
Australian Leadership Awards (ALA) Fellowships will be awarded to people who are already leaders and/or mid-career professionals who have potential to assume leadership roles that can influence social and economic policy reform and development outcomes, both in their own countries and in the Asia-Pacific region. Fellowships are offered for short-term research, study or professional attachments.
